Sooner or later, more sooner than later, you're gonna have to take a stand. Stand up for righteousness. In a world that challenges you daily to compromise the truth, we have to stand strong. It is commanded of us. When God commanded the children of Israel to enter their land of promise, God continuously reminded them to stand strong in His way.
"Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law....that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
For then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall have good success." Joshua 1:7-9 KJV
He wanted them to understand that by righteousness, they were made prosperous.
How does that pertain to us today? In today's time, we are challenged to stand for what is "right," even if it compromises the truth through this henotheistic worldview of polytheism. I encourage you to stand in righteousness. As Apostle Paul warned Timothy, so I warn you: the time is come when many will not endure sound doctrine, but will after their own lusts (lust of flesh, lust of eye and pride of life), heap to themselves teachers who will teach them what they want to hear (fables) rather than truth. It is the truth (God's Word) that sets us free and empowers us to prosper and flourish in this world. Hold strong to the truth and walk in righteousness even when it seems you are walking against the crowd. We are here to strengthen you with the truth.
