It's a Paradox: There are two Kingdoms on the Earth--Kingdom of Darkness and Kingdom of God

"ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them(spirit of darkness); because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

They (deceivers) are of the world; therefore, speak they of the world, and the world listens to them. We are of God; he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth and the spirit of error." 1John 4:4-6

We hear the phrase "we are in this world, but not of it" all the time. But do you understand what it means? It's a paradox. We exist in this world with all its chaos, destruction, and foolishness; yet another "world" also exists. Jesus describes it as the Kingdom of God. He introduced it to us and encouraged all to enter into it. But it is a spiritual habitation and not a physical one. Jesus explained that you must be born again, born of the spirit and of the water to enter in. To abide in the kingdom of God is what King David described as the Secret Place.

Before his departure, Jesus prayed the ultimate prayer asking the Father to "sanctify us through truth and keep us from evil." You no longer have to be blinded in the darkness and driven by its trickeries; just open your eyes to the truth and desire to enter in. For we are in this world (kingdom of darkness), but we are invited to abide in the kingdom of God where there is safety and peace.

Seek to enter today.
